“Clean Start” was the headline that ran above this photo in the Jackson Citizen Patriot today. Prison crews have been clearing out buildings at Camp Waterloo, an abandoned prison camp in Waterloo Township, since Monday. About $1,500 have been collected in scrap metal and there are talks of demolishing the former prison camp and current magnet for vandalism and arson.
