Best of 2011 While going through a large body of work for contests and what not, I figured I might as well put up a best of gallery. There isn’t a particular rhyme or reason to these photos. Some won clip contest honors, some are singles form longer stories and some are even from a trip I took to the south but they’re all photos that made me feel something. Thanks for looking!

“Clean Start” was the headline that ran above this photo in the Jackson Citizen Patriot today. Prison crews have been clearing out buildings at Camp Waterloo, an abandoned prison camp in Waterloo Township, since Monday. About $1,500 have been collected in scrap metal and there are talks of demolishing the former prison camp and current magnet for vandalism and arson.
